RIPTIDE was a metal band from 1986 - 1988 that never got the attention to keep going, so they broke up in 1989. Pieter Oosterman almost did all the guitar work and composing of VULTURE'S CD 'Easier to Lie' which also contains Rolands ideas of using the basic jazz rhythm as a metal riff. An awesome record which was also used for the metal radio show 'Vara's Vuurwerk'.
