Crosshead Biography (Info, Photos, Articles)

Crosshead
was formed in 1986 in Belgium, and their first demo "Strange Feelings" was recorded totally without any expierence or money. Later on they did a lot off concerts and they become much heavier than the demo.

In 1988 they contributed with the songs "Danger" & "Strange Feelings" on the Power Metal - Heavy Metal From Benelux compilation.

In 1989 Crosshead got the first place of a ROCK CONTEST and won the prize of 2500EUR, they played more and more and succeeded to get a real record deal, but...later on , they took the wrong decision, the company was gone with the wind and also the money, and etcetera.. so no registration, and Crosshead lost the possibility to the support from Iron Maiden tour, and the management decided to go on with another band. Crosshead would later split up.

Line-Up:
Ruddy CarliƩr - Vocals
Ronald De Cock - Guitars
Marc Hermans - Guitars (Revenge)
Hans Brusselmans - Bass
Wim Leys - Drums (Shannah)

The guitarist Marc Hermans would later form the band Revenge and release a self-titled album in 1996 produced by Peter De Wint of Crossfire & Ostrogoth. Today Marc making his own music, you can find him at: myspace.com/marc_hermans.

Many thanks to Ronald, Marc & Crosshead for the info and photos, also for letting me use them here!
