This could be one of the worst rock / hard rock compilations to come out from sweden, just look at the crappy band-names, Farfars Bluesband (Grandpas Bluesband)?? I guess that can't be the best name to start a career under. And no Exodus aren't the same as the Exodus who released Bonded by Blood.. I promise you. The actually listenable songs are from Teaterbandet, Rövarbandet and Tvärdrag, their song Satanist are also the only one with good lyrics! Well anyway I got a request to post this compilation so I do! and maybe one or two.. would be interested to hear it. Comes with a inner-sleeve with printed band-info/photos and lyrics.
Some Info about the compilation (taken from the sleeve):
In the autumn of 1979 grew an idea of some social workers in Gothenburg to take advantage of and develop the interest in rock music that existed in many teenagers. Young people are increasingly confronted with problems such as unemployment and drug abuse which leds to passivity and resignation. To enable young people to develop their interest in music is a way to break the passivity and show that it is possible to do something about the situation.
From starting in a local in central Gothenburg, LTSR expanded to include 13 music-locals, about 80 bands and 400 young people which are today with the business. LTSR runs together with Gothenburg, Leisure and Social services. The record LTSR is an attempt to provide a representative sample of the music groups that are involved and play under the slogan "Let A Thousand Stones Roll"
